Our Story: From Texas Roots to Colorado Rockies
Founded in Houston, TX in 2014 by Candace Strother, QueenLyfe Inc. began as a personal journey of healing and self-discovery. What started as one woman's commitment to self-love has evolved into a powerful movement impacting thousands of women and girls across two states.
In 2024, QueenLyfe expanded its mission to Denver, Colorado, bringing our signature Project Mona Lisa mentorship program to DSST Montview and Vista Peak Exploratory schools. This expansion represents not just geographic growth, but the enduring power of a message that resonates across communities: Love Yourself First Everyday (LYFE).

PROJECT MONA LISA - Youth Mentorship Program
Empowering the Next Generation of Queens
Project Mona Lisa is our signature mentorship program designed for multicultural girls ages 11-16. This program allows participants to build a solid foundation of self-love and self-worth through interactive activities and life application modules.
Program Origins: Houston (2018) Launched at YES Prep Southside in September 2018, Project Mona Lisa immediately demonstrated its impact, with 90% of participants showing increased academic performance.
Current Impact: Denver, Colorado (2024-Present)
We are honored to partner with two exceptional Denver schools:
DSST Montview Middle School Serving students in the Montview neighborhood, our partnership brings social-emotional learning and mentorship directly into the school environment.
Vista Peak Exploratory Through our collaboration with Vista Peak Exploratory, we're expanding access to empowerment programming for Denver's diverse student population.
