Our Mission

Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation helps students turn their educational dreams into goals and those goals into reality by providing scholarships for higher education to students in need from all backgrounds from Pueblo and Southern Colorado to assist them in achieving lifelong success.

Background Statement

Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation (PHEF) was established in Pueblo, Colorado in 1988

by a small group of visionaries that believed in the importance of higher education. PHEF has been a solid staple in the Pueblo community advocating for higher education.

The Foundation focuses on removing the financial as well as other barriers that might prevent all students from securing an education and gaining employment. The Foundation's purpose is to secure funds for scholarships and other educational support for low-moderate income students. Over eighty percent of the money raised by PHEF goes to providing students with support and services.
