The Problem Gambling Center of Colorado (PGCC) serves as the state affiliate of the National Council on Problem Gambling and as the state advocate for programs and services that assist all affected by problem gambling throughout Colorado.
Our mission is to increase awareness, advocate for treatment, and promote research and education on problem gambling.
We exist to prevent and reduce the harms caused by problem gambling and gaming disorder, and to ensure that every person impacted—regardless of age, background, or ability to pay—has a safe, stigma-free place to receive help, rebuild stability, and restore hope.
⚠ With sports betting, online casinos, and high-intensity gaming platforms expanding across Colorado, more young adults, teens, and families are being exposed to addictive products than ever before. Yet Colorado invests only a fraction of what is needed to address this growing public-health issue. As a result, many Coloradans face long wait times, limited treatment access, or the devastating consequences of untreated addiction—including job loss, suicide risk, and family instability.
