Poudre Libraries Trust collaborates with Poudre Libraries and the Poudre River Friends of the Library to solicit and manage funds that will support the long-term expansion and enhancement of the Library District's equipment and facilities. Through your contributions, the Libraries Trust enhances the cultural, intellectual, and literary life in our shared community.
In January of 2026, the Trust was announced as a founding partner in the new southeast library, which is part of a multi-purpose center that will include a full-service library as well as recreation, innovation, and aquatics spaces. The project is a joint venture between Poudre Libraries, the City of Fort Collins, and Poudre School District. Benefits of the project include: a cost-effective partnership among three of the area's largest public entities; response to rapid historical growth in the southeast Fort Collins area; walking distance to multiple schools, major bus lines, neighborhood commercial, and a regional park, creating a walkable hub of amenities for area residents.
The Trust has pledged $500,000 for the Library's Capital Campaign to fund the library's furnishings, equipment, fixtures, and other enhancements.
