Poudre Libraries Trust collaborates with Poudre Libraries and the Poudre River Friends of the Library to solicit and manage funds that will support the long-term expansion and enhancement of the Library District's equipment and facilities. Through your contributions, the Libraries Trust enhances the cultural, intellectual, and literary life in our shared community.
In January of 2026, the Trust was announced as a founding partner in the new Southeast Community Center (SECC), a joint project between Poudre Libraries, the City of Fort Collins, and Poudre School District. The Trust has pledged $500,000 to the library wing of the SECC, and will help fund furnishings, equipment, fixtures, and enhancements to the space.
The Poudre Libraries Trust supports the capital project needs of the Poudre Libraries.

Poudre Libraries Trust was founded in 1999 by a dedicated group of library supporters. Trust board members, honorary board members and a small group of other private citizens committed start-up funds to establish the Trust.
The Trust has established a fund to ensure that the Poudre Libraries can respond to the increasing demands of an inquisitive, progressive and diverse information society.
