Pikes Peak Pride

A nonprofit organization

Pikes Peak Pride is a Colorado Springs-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting, uplifting, and increasing visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies throughout the Pikes Peak Region.

Through its annual Pride Festival and Parade in downtown Colorado Springs, along with year-round community engagement, Pikes Peak Pride celebrates the achievements, resilience, and diversity of LGBTQIA+ individuals while fostering education, inclusion, and connection.

The organization advocates for full civil and social equity by empowering the community, promoting awareness, and creating welcoming spaces where everyone can be seen, supported, and celebrated.

Mission

Pikes Peak Pride honors the active and diverse achievements of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities of Colorado. This is an opportunity for all LGBTQIA+ Coloradans to celebrate our achievements and remind the world that we exist while raising awareness within the communities.

Background Statement

Pikes Peak Pride advocates for LGBTQ+ interests, educates the public, and works to create a sense of community and acceptance primarily through our annual two-day festival and parade event that gathers thousands of visitors together from across Colorado state, and the country, to downtown Colorado Springs.
