Background Statement
PALS is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing pet overpopulation and promoting accessible animal care services in our community. Founded in January 2023 by a team of seasoned animal advocates, PALS draws upon decades of collective experience in non-profit animal welfare.
Driven by a shared passion to create positive change, our team identified a critical need for affordable and accessible spay/neuter and vaccination services in our Southern Colorado community. Bringing our collective experience and resources to the table, PALS aims to provide solutions to combat pet overpopulation and improve the lives of animals.
With a group of animal lovers that has worked together for nearly a decade, PALS boasts a unique blend of continuity, expertise, and commitment. Our team members bring extensive knowledge in animal welfare, community engagement, and program development.
Mission-focused and community-driven, PALS is committed to:
- Providing accessible and affordable spay/neuter and vaccination services
- Promoting animal welfare education and support, as well as community engagement and fun animal-focused special events
- Collaborating with community members and other animal care organizations to address pet overpopulation
Through collective efforts, PALS strives to create a healthy, supported, and loving environment for animals in our community and the people who care for them.
