Dear Performance Now Friend and Patron,

As we slowly rebuild after COVID, we want to stop and thank you for your support and loyalty through these challenging times. Our 2023-2024 season began with "Seussical" in September and continues with the favorites “Newsies”, (January) “The Music Man” (April) and “Pirates of Penzance” (June).

Now in our 21st year, we continue to hold fast to our mission of “presenting professional quality entertainment for you and your family, enriching your lives through musicals, dramas, and comedies, while providing an opportunity for the next generation of performers in live theatre.”

In this capacity, we have dedicated ourselves to an even stronger outreach with the community, including high schools, youth involvement, and even audio descriptions for the blind. Yes, Performance Now is EXPANDING!

As you probably know, our family-friendly ticket prices only pay a portion of the costs needed to produce these four, live, professional-level Broadway shows per season. And with the economic challenges presented first by shutting down during the pandemic, and then ensuing inflationary pressures, we rely on generous donors, like you, to help us fulfill that mission.

Performance Now Theatre Company brings wonderful, quality entertainment to the community and offers opportunities for inspiring local performers. Their youth program, in particular, offers young actors the chance to learn and participate in a professional and safe environment with engaged audiences and mature actors who enjoy sharing their experience and knowledge with them. The youth, in turn, bring their excitement and exuberance and fresh ideas to rehearsals and performances, and lift the entire show to a new, higher level.

I participated in the very first Performance Now production with its founder, Nancy Goodwin, as director and saw the great vision she had at that time. More than a decade later it has been gratifying to see the company meet and surpass Nancy's expectations and to continue to bring joy to audiences and performers alike.

Not only have I enjoyed the productions I've been involved with, all three of my children (actors all) have also loved their experiences with Performance Now shows. Now my vocal students are also auditioning and performing with the Performance Now family. This great environment and wholesome opportunities for actors, both young and not-so-young, is a great benefit to our Denver theatre community.
