You can make dedicated pickleball courts a reality in Chaffee!
Dedicated outdoor courts will ensure nets are available year-round, giving everyone in our community—from families to teens to seniors—an open invitation to play. Already, local high school students are organizing their own round robins during school events, showing how accessible and appealing the sport has become.
Currently, our members and visitors pack the Centennial courts—often filling every space and waiting for turns.
The need for more courts is clear, and your contribution will help meet this growing demand.

Pickleball has become a vibrant part of life here in Southern Chaffee County, connecting neighbors from Buena Vista, Poncha Springs, and Salida—whether on the court, at local tournaments, or through our outreach programs. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to offer a welcoming place for everyone to play, learn, and build friendships.
As our community continues to grow, we’re excited for what’s ahead. In 2026, we have a special opportunity to partner with the Town of Poncha Springs to create brand new outdoor courts as part of their 32-acre park. This project will help bring even more people together and ensure pickleball stays accessible to all ages and abilities.

Peak to Peak Pickleball Club, as a volunteer and non-profit organization, is dedicated to promoting and facilitating the sport of Pickleball in Chaffee County and the surrounding area, thereby:
-Providing collegial, social interaction with people of all ages and abilities
-Encouraging the physical, mental, and social benefits of an active lifestyle
-Providing opportunities for the continued development of all players in a collegial and sportsmanlike environment
-Working to expand facilities as needed
Since forming as a nonprofit in 2018, Peak to Peak Pickleball Club has grown into a thriving community of more than 450 members. Together, we champion the sport of pickleball across Chaffee County—helping to raise funds to build the public courts in Buena Vista and now working to make new courts in Poncha Springs a reality.
Our mission goes beyond play. We foster recreational and competitive opportunities for all ages, provide lessons for beginners and youth, and promote health, connection, and active living. Through volunteer service and financial support, we proudly give back to organizations like Sunrise Rotary, Ark Valley Helping Hands, the Salida Community Center, and through our unique “Pickle in the Prison” program.
