Partners for Special Education in Bulgaria

A nonprofit organization

Due to the generosity of our donors, PSEB has provided over 300 hours of in-country training by 3 trainers to over 50 Bulgarian caregivers, launched parent coaching programs, and we are starting to see the beginning of exponential growth with our Bulgarian counterparts independently training caregivers on best practices educating children and adults with disabilities.

Bulgarian teachers, therapists and family members of people who have disabilities are searching for quality training and resources that are limitedly, or not currently, available in their native language. PSEB can help solve that need.  Donations will help us power potential to achieve the mission of PSEB into the future.

Mission

We believe all individuals, everywhere, deserve regular and continual opportunities for learning to fully realize their potential.

Background Statement

Founders Joshua and Anne Andrews created Partners for Special Education in Bulgaria (“PSEB”) due to their belief that all individuals, everywhere, deserve regular and continual opportunities for learning. Their Peace Corps experience in Bulgaria, understanding of the Bulgarian language, and Anne’s career as a therapist for children with disabilities, puts PSEB in the unique position to make a meaningful impact on the social and educational experiences of people who have disabilities and their families in Bulgaria.
