Mission

The Park Hill Elementary PTSA is a volunteer-based service organization with two goals. One is to bridge the gap between school and home by building community. The other is to raise funds to cover educational necessities that the district (DPS) does not cover.

Background Statement

The National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) was founded in 1897. Park Hill Elementary Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a part of the national organization as well as the Colorado PTA, which was founded in 1907. National & Colorado PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

Most schools in the USA (and many across the globe) are affiliated with a PTA or some other parent organization. We essentially provide social and financial assistance to the school community.
