Hazelbrook Community Center is Colorado’s leading peer recovery support services hub for justice and parole-involved individuals and individuals with substance use disorder experience. With more than five years of experience provisioning crucial peer support recovery services—peer coaching, care management, resource navigation, career training, and identification services to justice and parole-involved individuals—the organization has helped more than 10,000 people successfully transition to long-term sober living over the course of its programming, measurably reducing rates of recidivism and relapse in Colorado. Further, Hazelbrook is Colorado’s largest provider of recovery housing, operating more than 40 recovery residences statewide.
In addition to recovery housing and sober living, providing peer coaching support services is Hazelbrook’s area of expertise, and the organization has helped more than 10,000 individuals attain stable sober living since its inception in 2020. In delivering support services, Hazelbrook provides a broad array of wraparound resources and services, including care management, group and individual therapy, behavioral health education, and treatment referrals.
With connections to criminal justice agencies, courts, and organizations throughout Colorado’s recovery community, Hazelbrook is uniquely positioned to deliver peer support services to all individuals in need of help, reducing the risk of recidivism and relapse among some of Colorado’s most vulnerable people.
