The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is a Nonprofit Like No Other

With a mission to strengthen the foundation of our community, the Y offers life-changing programs and services that support individuals and families from six weeks to 106 years old. Every dollar donated helps provide financial assistance and scholarships to ensure that no one is ever turned away because of cost.

When you donate or fundraise for the Y, you open doors for neighbors in need. Your support ensures these essential programs continue:

  • LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a free program where cancer survivors and their caregivers connect with a supportive community while rebuilding strength and wellness.

  • Middle School Initiative provides safe and supervised before and after school care for tweens at the Fountain Valley Y at no cost to families. Participants also receive a free Y membership, offering a positive space to grow.

  • Financial Assistance for Membership means everyone has the opportunity to pursue health and well-being in spirit, mind, and body. Your gift keeps memberships affordable and accessible for all.

  • Military Support offers programs that foster connection, community, and resilience for service members and their families as they face unique challenges.

  • Child Care is affordable and high-quality, making sure families facing financial struggles can still access caring child care throughout our region.

Background Statement

The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is proud to be part of the largest nonprofit in the country. Everything we do is about helping people grow stronger in spirit, mind, and body. From little kids to teens, parents to grandparents, everyone is welcome at the Y.

The Y is a place where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities come together to play, learn, and support one another. We believe in values like caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and we do our best to show those values every day. Whether it's through swimming lessons, sports, after-school fun, or healthy activities, the Y is a place where kids and families can feel at home.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to be part of the Y, no matter their financial situation. That is why we work hard to make sure no one is turned away because of cost.

The YMCA was started by volunteers, and they are still a big part of who we are today. Volunteers help in so many ways, from reading stories to little ones to coaching youth teams and spending time with seniors. Their kindness and energy help make the Y a special place for everyone.
