OneTable

OneTable is a North American Jewish nonprofit organization that combines technology and a peer-to-peer engagement strategy to build community and connection through Shabbat dinner gatherings. 

For us, success means a whole generation of Jewish young adults finding joy and connection through Jewish ritual and tradition. We recruit and support volunteer hosts who post their dinners on our custom tech platform, introduce them to Jewish learning with coaching, DIY tools, and financial support. Our digital platform invites people to build a Shabbat practice that feels personal, authentic, valuable, and lasting.

Since launching our Miami Hub in 2016, more than 10,000 young adults have participated in over 5,000 Shabbat dinners across our vibrant community, creating over 33,300 seats at the table. That's a whole lot of challah!

One Miami host shared: "I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the night and express my deepest gratitude to OneTable for helping make it all possible. The nourishment support really helped offset some costs, and without it, I wouldn’t have been able to host as many people to celebrate the holidays and Shabbat together.
