We serve as a resource clearinghouse for the LGBTQIA+ community, and our flagship event each year is our Pride Resource Fair, the first indoor, climate-controlled accessible Pride event in Northern Colorado. Founded in 2015, we have organized an annual Pride Resource Fair every year, with the exception of 2020, when public health orders restricted gatherings of over 5,000 attendees.
Northern Colorado Equality seeks to empower the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies through activities, programs, services, and education. Honoring, promoting and celebrating our community’s diversity is our central organizing principle.
NCE is completely volunteer-run, with no paid employees. Our Pride event is indoors, in a climate-controlled, ADA-compliant venue, allowing disabled attendees, speakers and vendors to attend our event while they are not able to attend others, or are able to stay for longer.
