At New America College, every day we witness something extraordinary: adults from around the world—immigrants, refugees, and international students—walking through our doors with courage, determination, and hope.
They come seeking more than English. They come seeking belonging, opportunity, and a future for themselves and their families.
Since 2007, New America College has stood as a nonprofit committed to teaching English with compassion and excellence. But what we really do is help people build new lives. When a parent learns English, they can advocate for their child at school. When a worker improves their language skills, they can find a better job and provide stability for their family. When a student gains confidence in their voice, they carry that strength into every aspect of their life.
This is powerful, life-changing work. And it is only possible because of people like you.
We keep our tuition low to ensure that anyone who wants to learn can afford to attend. But tuition alone does not cover the true cost of providing high-quality instruction, supportive services, and the welcoming community that makes our college so special. That’s why we rely on donations from people who believe, as we do, that everyone deserves a chance to succeed. We do not receive government grants, and students are not eligible to apply for Federal loans for full-time English classes.
When you give to New America College, you aren’t just making a donation. You are changing lives. You are helping a refugee mother learn English so she can navigate a doctor’s appointment. You are helping an international student find their place in a new community. You are helping a worker gain the skills to move into a better-paying job.
Please, join us in building a stronger, more connected community. Together, we can ensure that New America College remains a place of hope and opportunity for all who need it.
