New Castle Learning Advantage

Have you ever known children who are bright, curious, and full of promise...until they start school? Then, over time, the spark begins to dim? They struggle to read or write or work with numbers, and then they come to dread school. Accomodations help but they don't change the underlying conditions. What if there was way to change these learning glitches for life? 

New Castle Learning Advantage (NCLA) offers just such an opportunity with the almost 50-year old Arrowsmith Program! Based in Western Colorado, NCLA began providing specialized learning opportunities for students who struggled in traditional classroom settings in 2019. Our programs are designed as short-term interventions, typically lasting one to four years, with the goal of helping students return to the regular classroom with little to no modifications. Today, NCLA works with students of all abilities through targeted exercises that strengthen the cognitive skills involved in mathematics, writing, reading, and healthy social interactions. We proudly offer the Arrowsmith Program, whose mission is to strengthen the brain’s learning capacities and create lasting improvements in how students learn.
