myWealthBeing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting financial literacy and empowering individuals and communities to take control of their personal finances. Founded in 2005 by a group of financial professionals and philanthropists, myWealthBeing was created in response to the growing need for accessible and practical financial education across all sectors of society.

Our mission is to provide education, tools, strategies, and personalized consultations that help individuals and families build wealth and achieve long-term financial stability. We believe that with the right knowledge and support, everyone can make informed decisions, develop strong financial habits, and work toward prosperity.

What We Do

myWealthBeing supports individuals at all stages of life with a variety of services and resources, including:

  • Workshops and webinars on personal finance topics such as budgeting, debt reduction, credit, savings, investing, and retirement planning

  • One-on-one coaching to guide individuals through personalized financial action plans

  • Digital tools to help participants create a budget, calculate net worth, manage debt, and plan for major goals like buying a home, starting a business, or saving for retirement

Our programs emphasize both financial education and real-world application. We walk alongside participants as they build foundational skills, helping them gain confidence while applying what they learn in practical, meaningful ways.

Community-Focused & Inclusive

myWealthBeing is deeply committed to inclusion and equity, tailoring its services to meet the needs of diverse populations. We offer specialized support for:

  • Communities of color and underrepresented minorities, recognizing the systemic barriers they often face in accessing financial tools and resources

  • Low-income individuals and families, through accessible programming and partnerships with community-based organizations and public agencies

By partnering with local nonprofits, government programs, and private sector allies, we expand our reach and help close the gap in financial education and opportunity.

Our Approach

We take a holistic approach to financial empowerment, helping individuals:

  • Build monthly surpluses

  • Create emergency savings

  • Reduce and eliminate debt

  • Plan for home ownership and retirement

  • Invest in education and entrepreneurship

We also leverage technology and data to manage our programs effectively and provide continued support through follow-up meetings and progress tracking.

Our Impact

Through our work, myWealthBeing aims to elevate the consciousness around the value of hard-earned money and assets. We empower individuals not only to manage their money, but to build a legacy of financial wellness that can benefit future generations.

In Summary

myWealthBeing is more than just a financial literacy program—it’s a movement toward economic empowerment. By combining education, hands-on support, and inclusive programming, we help individuals and families build strong financial foundations and pursue their goals with confidence.
