Our mission statement

Providing music Lessons and instructions to individuals in life renewal programs in the Denver Metro area that treat various forms of addiction and trauma. The Program provides an encouranging space for personal growth.

Our history

After teaching over 100 Students in the New Life Program at the Denver Rescue Mission, there was a need to expand the program to provide music instruction throughout the Denver area by creating a non-profit organization.   During 2023,  we added a music class at Stout Street Foundation in addition to the Denver Rescue Mission (New Life Program).  We are looking at expansion into Boulder and other areas on the Front Range

Impact of Music to grow by on Students in recovery

Music to Grow By provides positive environment to expand the students mind through music and provide a “safe place” to lean and open up good positive conversations. Many of the students use music with their other training to help get thorough the recovery programs and graduate to a new beginning. May of the students play in church and hae recorded their own songs. A particular student starting teaching other students in Las Animas CO and started an open mic. We are considering open up a branch in a Recovery center in that city to expand MTGB.
