CASA of the Continental Divide (CASACD) guides trained volunteer advocates who stand beside children and youth navigating abuse, neglect, truancy, and challenging family circumstances. Serving Colorado’s Fifth Judicial District, including Clear Creek, Eagle, Lake, and Summit Counties, we work to ensure children's voices are heard and their safety, well-being, and best interests remain at the forefront of important decisions.

Child Advocacy in Dependency & Neglect
Volunteer advocates build consistent relationships with children involved in the child welfare system, monitor their needs, and advocate for safety, stability, and well-being.
Truancy Advocacy & Prevention
We work with students, families, schools, and community partners to identify barriers to school attendance, connect youth with resources, and support pathways toward educational success.
Safe Exchange & Parenting Time
We provide safe, supportive settings for parenting-time exchanges and visits, helping families maintain meaningful connections while prioritizing children's safety and well-being.
Showing Up Beyond the Courtroom
CASACD's impact often extends beyond formal advocacy. Our volunteers and staff work to understand each child's unique needs and help connect them with opportunities and resources that support their growth.
That can mean helping a child access needed clothing or dental care, connecting a teenager with job applications or scholarship opportunities, or driving miles across our mountain communities to ensure a child knows someone is there for them.
