$50,000 Goal

The mountains we face are overcome by faith. (Matthew 17:20) Founded in 2020 by a USAF veteran, Mountains Move primarily serves veterans, military members, and their families...but anyone is welcome who needs fresh perspectives and a backcountry 'reset' in the mountains of central Colorado.

We use faith-based outdoor adventure and horsemanship programs to build faith, restore purpose, and provide new perspective in the backcountry of central Colorado.  Putting it more simply, we use the canvas of God’s creation to build lasting connections with veterans, military members, and their families who struggle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, loss of purpose, and suicidal ideation in order to draw them into 1) a stronger faith in Jesus Christ and 2) a passion to fulfill the God-sized purpose in their life.  Part of our work involves adopting and rescuing wild mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management.  We believe these horses are powerful tools in our programming, as they speak to the transition that our guests make from fear and isolation to trust, faith, and a powerful purpose.

Mountains Move Core Values: Authentic Community, Committed Excellence, Faithful Stewardship, Relentless Love
