Mountain States Legal Foundation is a non-profit law firm, dedicated to restoring those rights enshrined in the Constitution, at zero legal fees to our clients. MSLF is focused on protecting property rights and economic liberty, defending the right to keep and bear arms, championing free speech and association, and upholding the principle of equal protection. From our headquarters in Colorado, we litigate crucial cases across the nation at every level—even all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States.

The federal government owns a third of all land in America, and nearly half in the west alone. Upwards of 4,000 national regulations are implemented by unelected officials each year, and affect the everyday moments of citizens’ lives. State and local governments are relentless in their efforts to squash the Second Amendment rights of peaceable gun owners. Every day it becomes harder and harder to speak your mind without the retaliation of some government commission.

Everywhere you look today, our liberty is under attack. Big government agencies, well-funded special interest groups, and unaccountable bureaucrats will never stop in their quest to increase their power and diminish the personal freedom of Americans. It is MSLF’s purpose to reestablish the founding principles of this nation and fight in the courts for those ideals of liberty essential to a free country and free people.
