Love Your Neighbor

More Connection. Shared Humanity. Stronger Community.

This past year, Mountain Pride has witnessed something extraordinary: when people show up for one another, lives change.

Across our mountain communities, LGBTQ+ individuals—youth, parents, elders, newcomers, longtime locals—found spaces where they could breathe, connect, and belong. Nearly 12,000 moments of care and connection were made possible because people like you chose to create a community rooted in humanity and love.

These weren’t just programs. They were touchpoints of safety, acts of solidarity, and moments that reminded people they are not alone.

Where Showing Up Becomes Belonging

More Connection

At gatherings like Coffee with Queers, support circles, school partnerships, and community meetups, people found friendship, affirmation, and the simple relief of being welcomed exactly as they are. For someone who may feel isolated, that connection can be life-changing.

Shared Humanity

Every time a parent learns how to better support their LGBTQ+ child…

Every time a youth finds a trusted adult at school…

Every time a newcomer walks into a Mountain Pride event and feels instantly safe…

We witness the power of seeing one another fully.

Stronger Community

From health equity navigation to leadership development to joyful community events, Mountain Pride continues to build a valley where LGBTQ+ individuals can thrive—not just survive. Your support keeps these programs free, accessible, and rooted in dignity.

A Story of Impact

One community member recently shared:

“I didn’t know how badly I needed a space like this. I came to one event, and suddenly I wasn’t alone anymore.”

This is what your support makes possible. Not just events. Not just services.

Belonging. Connection. Hope.

You Make This Work Possible

Your generosity is the backbone of this movement. You help create a community where every LGBTQ+ neighbor feels safe, supported, and valued.

As we look to the year ahead, we need your partnership to keep building this stronger, more connected future. Every gift—whether $5, $50, or $500—ensures our programs remain free and accessible to all.

Every Act of Love Builds a Stronger Community

When you give to Mountain Pride, you are choosing to love your neighbor. You are choosing connection over division. You are choosing to help create a valley where everyone can live authentically and proudly.

Thank You for Showing Up

Together, we’ll continue creating more connections.

Together, we’ll honor our shared humanity.

Together, we’ll build the strong, vibrant community our LGBTQ+ neighbors deserve.

Mission

Our Mission is to continuously improve the lived experience of our LGBTQIA+ community. Our Vision is to embrace, strengthen, and celebrate the diversity of our LGBTQIA+ communities across the mountains of Colorado .

Background Statement

In 2020, Britny Rose, Eagle County Pride's - Pride in the Park inaugural organizer, inquired about Eagle County not having a pride festival. Within seven days of asking that question, she organized a successful pride festival attended by hundreds. This resulted in the formation of a "Pride Committee" comprised of Eagle County residents committed to growing and strengthening the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies in Eagle County. Eagle County Pride hosted a variety of social events, meet-and-greets, and self-care activities such as yoga and dancing classes. Resulting from the success of our outreach efforts and the desire to serve as a resource for the neighboring communities, our organization grew to serve not only the LGBTQIA+ communities in Eagle County but also the LGBTQIA+ communities throughout the mountains of Colorado, prompting us to change our name to Mountain Pride and seek 501(c)3 status.
