It’s simple: Colorado Mountain Mamas want our kids to play and grow up in pollution-free air. We strive to leave a better, healthier, cleaner world for our kids and their kids. That’s why we advocate on their behalf for our outdoor quality of life. We’re making the air healthier for our kids today while also fighting the climate crisis that threatens their tomorrow. Colorado Mountain Mamas achieves our vision by working toward three initiatives:
1) Clean air for healthy, growing lungs
2) A clean climate and restorative justice for a thriving future for all
3) Protection for, and equitable access to, our public lands for future generations.
That combination is what will ensure Colorado is a place where all families can thrive, and children can grow up healthy no matter their neighborhood. To us, mamas include trans women, gender nonconforming people, non-binary people, cis women, and any other person who finds themselves identifying in some way with the incredible label of “mom.”
