At Mile High United Way, we believe that being a good neighbor means that when one of us needs help, we all have a role to play.It means caring about a family down the street, a child in the classroom or a person you’ve never met who is facing a difficult moment.
Join us in connecting people to the resources and opportunities they need to find stability and build a stronger future.Your investment in our work changes lives - making sure children have access to high-quality early care and education, young adults transitioning out of the child welfare system have stable housing and families can pay their rent and put food on the table. Last year, Mile High United Way served over 470,000 people through its direct services and partnerships with other organizations.
A stronger community starts with all of us. This Colorado Gives Day, make a gift to help children and families get the support they need to build a stronger future.
Mission
Mile High United Way connects people to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. We focus on four community priorities: basic needs, early childcare and education, safe and stable housing and financial security. Through our programs and initiatives, individuals and families find stability and build stronger futures.
Background Statement
Since 1887, Mile High United Way has brought people together to solve the most pressing challenges facing our community. As the first United Way in the world, we continue that legacy today. We believe lasting change happens when solutions are shaped by the people closest to the challenges. That’s why we listen, adapt and work alongside communities to create programs that respond to real needs.
