At Mighty Water, we believe that clean water shouldn’t be a privilege—it’s a basic human right. Yet today, millions of families around the world still drink from contaminated sources, leading to preventable illness, poverty, and hardship. That’s why we exist.
Mighty Water designs, manufactures, and distributes innovative, affordable water filtration systems that empower communities to take control of their own health. Our locally led workshops and training programs give families the tools and knowledge to assemble and maintain their own household filters.
With a focus on impact, we partner with trusted grassroots organizations to reach the most underserved regions, ensuring every dollar goes directly toward delivering clean water where it’s needed most.
Mighty Water and its partners have reached nearly 100,000 people across Africa, Asia, and Latin America—but the need is far greater.

Clean water is the most direct way to improve the health, happiness, and productivity of families worldwide. Mighty Water (formerly Global Access 2030) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2018 to share the power of clean drinking water to uplift communities worldwide.
UNDERSTANDING CHALLENGES
The solution is more than delivering a ‘fix.’ It is our primary responsibility to question, listen, and take time to deeply understand the community challenges, cultural context, and daily routines. The real challenge is changing daily habits.
EMPOWERING CHANGE
There are a few approaches to water treatment in developing nations—community, household, or individual levels. In remote communities, the household is the most effective intervention level as we can effectively change a family’s routine more easily than a community.
SIMPLE SOLUTIONS
The key innovation is the Safi Gravity Water Filter, a groundbreaking technology designed to provide a simple and affordable, yet efficient solution. Safi utilizes advanced filtration techniques to remove harmful parasites and bacteria at the point-of-use. It is easy to build, easy to use, and requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for communities with limited resources and infrastructure.
