Maria's Literary Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Maria's Bookshop, dedicated to building community and expanding access to books and storytelling. We do this by:
- Donating new books and Golden Bookmarks (vouchers to shop at Maria's Bookshop at no cost) to Title I schools, classrooms, correctional facilities, community service organizations, and families in the Four Corners
- Hosting literary programming and community events that ensure everyone can be a reader
- Operating The Reading Room, our youth community space, reading nook, and completely free bookshop for kids and teenagers in La Plata County
