Mancos United is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) serving everyone who lives, learns, or works in the Mancos Valley.We bring people together across generations, cultures, and circumstances to create a socially and emotionally healthy and safe Mancos community.
Thanks to the generosity of friends and neighbors, we’ve already raised $11,000 toward our annual goal. We’re aiming for $10,000 more during Colorado Gives to sustain our programs and unlock statewide matching funds.

60 children served daily each summer through the Mancos Summer Hub, gaining independence and belonging.
Dozens of people stabilized through our Basic Needs Program — from emergency car repairs to tutoring to heat assistance.

Mancos United creates conditions create conditions in the Mancos Valley that support the social,
emotional, mental, and physical well-being of everyone who lives, works, or learns there.
Mancos United was launched as a response to community tragedy. The school district and local social service organizations identified the vision of a socially and emotionally, healthy, safe and united Mancos community. After listening to you share what was missing and how we might achieve the vision, four areas of focus were identified:
1) Summer Programs for kids and to reduce adult stress
2) Connecting people with basic needs services and resources
3) Exploring a Mancos Valley Community Hub
4) Partnering with aligned organizations / activities
We're wrapping up #3 shortly and will zero in on the others. Thanks for all of your support over the first few years!
