The Mama Wilder Foundation (MWF) is a grassroots, women-led nonprofit that provides small, direct cash grants to women, most often mothers, who are navigating the family court system and rebuilding their lives after abuse. Founded in 2023, MWF was created to address the financial and legal hardships women face, especially those affected by coercive control, financial abuse, and systemic inequities.
We operate with a minimal-overhead, fully volunteer-run model to ensure that every donation makes an immediate and life-changing difference. Our grants help women cover essential needs such as emergency legal guidance, housing, transportation, food, and household necessities.
At MWF, we believe the most effective way to empower women is to trust them with resources, putting cash directly into their hands when they need it most.
