The Monument will be built at the entrance of the Loveland Sports Park.
It will include a Loveland High School Vietnam Era Veterans Monument dedicated to the young men and women who joined the military during the Vietnam era. It will also incorporate WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Cold War monuments and monuments dedicated to the many conflicts our military has been involved in including Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Gulf War, Somalia, Kosovo, Desert Storm, Afghanistan OEF, Iraq OIF, and the War on Terror. These monuments will carry rhetoric describing each conflict.
The monument will be both educational and informational.
The Veterans Honor Monument will give the people of Loveland a place for events to be held to honor our military veterans for what they have sacrificed for their country. It will be a place for remembrance, healing and sometimes closure for family, friends, and veterans. This monument will enhance the community’s awareness of what a veteran with PTSD deals with.

The committee has been working in cooperation with the City of Loveland Parks and Recreation since November, 2022. The Monument will be built at the entrance of the Loveland Sports Park.
