Mission

Our mission is to support a thriving and vibrant arts and cultural community in Louisville, Colorado.

Background Statement

FLASH is a restored 501(c)3 arts organization in Louisville, CO. The original entity operated as the Louisville Cultural Council, an advisory board for the City of Louisville, until 2019 when the decision was made to fold it into the City of Louisville financially and operationally.

After Covid and the Marshall Fire, FLASH was restored in 2023 with a mission to preserve and cultivate cultural vitality in Louisville.

In the aftermath of the devastating Marshall Fire, our community has faced immense loss and the challenge of rebuilding, not just physically, but emotionally and socially. FLASH believes that art plays a vital role in the healing and rebuilding process. We are committed to promoting cultural events that bring people together and strengthen the bonds within our community.
