Donating to the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra will give volunteer members an outlet for quality music making; allow patrons and friends of the Lone Tree Symphony to continue attending our performances at the Lone Tree Arts Center for accessible costs; bring small-ensemble performances from our Mini Symphony to Go ensembles to retirement communities, libraries, and community centers; provide instrumental coaches to students in Douglas County Schools and youth music organizations.

Mission

The mission of the Lone Tree Symphony is to be a first-class community orchestra performing orchestral music in the City of Lone Tree and the South Metro area, to enable musicians to perform orchestral music to a high standard, and to enrich the lives of community members through music.

Background Statement

The Lone Tree Symphony was founded in 2000 by local musicians who wanted to bring classical music to the community. Since its founding, the orchestra has steadily grown, both in terms of membership and musicianship, and the audience has steadily grown. For its first eleven seasons, the orchestra performed at Cornerstone Church in Lone Tree, but with the opening of the Lone Tree Arts Center in 2011, it moved to that location. The orchestra has introduced thousands of South Metro residents to classical music. Maestra Jacinda Bouton has been Music Director and Conductor of the Lone Tree Symphony since its inception.
