Thompson Valley Art League has been in operation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1965. Throughout the years, TVAL has brought quality programming and events to the northern Colorado community, including Art in the Park, national and regional juried shows, and arts education. Our education program goes beyond training in techniques and materials, including training on the business of being a professional artist.
TVAL's mission is to provide artists in Northern Colorado with opportunities to grow their skills and business, but we also encourage artists to engage in the community because we know that a thriving arts culture is paramount to a healthy community. Area students of all ages have access to a FREE membership and mentorship. Those students can attend monthly meetings, learn from artists with years of professional experience, work alongside them in volunteer roles, and take all our classes at a discounted rate.
Being a membership-based non-profit organization gives us the ability to build an arts community with long lasting connections and flexibility to respond to the current art scene.
Would you like to join us as we build a thriving, diverse arts culture in Loveland?
