Mission Statement: The Limon Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and education purposes. It will endeavor to promote, develop and organize fund-raising activities to benefit and sustain the fulfillment of educational needs within Limon School District RE-4J.
The Limon Education Foundation was founded in 2006 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for the purpose of strengthening, enhancing and further distinguishing Limon Public Schools by providing fund-raising efforts that would benefit our school district. At the time that the LEF was founded, our school was facing some serious financial concerns, and ongoing state budget reductions continue to create challenges in the district's financial planning.
