At Lew Dog Gives, we believe compassion can change everything. We are a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit helping the unsung heroes who care for animals—the shelter worker bottle-feeding a puppy at midnight, the foster driving through a storm to reach the vet, the sanctuary taking in the animal no one else can help.

Through storytelling and fundraising, we help lift some of the burdens these dedicated heroes carry, so they can spend more time doing what matters most: caring for animals.

We help strengthen these organizations through responsible funding, education, and community support.

Why We Are Different

Most donors want to help animals, but it can be hard to know which organizations are trustworthy or where a gift will have the greatest impact. That is where Lew Dog Gives comes in.

We are a 100 percent volunteer organization, and we donate 100 percent of net proceeds to the rescues, shelters, and sanctuaries we support. That means your gift goes directly toward helping animals, not overhead.

We evaluate and support organizations that:

• Demonstrate financial responsibility and transparency

• Put the majority of their resources toward direct animal care

• Show compassion, integrity, and a strong track record of responsible stewardship

• Serve animals that often fall through the cracks, including medical cases and rural or underfunded regions.

We act as a connector, guide, and trusted partner. Your donation helps us direct support to the places where it can do the most good.

Our Mission

Lew Dog Gives turns love into action by funding rescues, shelters, and sanctuaries in need. We support medical care, food, safe refuge, and programs that protect animals of every kind: dogs, cats, horses, farm animals, and wildlife. We also share stories that inspire compassion and remind people that caring for animals lifts humanity itself.

How We Make an Impact

• Fundraising that fuels care—Every purchase of our cookbook Healthy Cooking for Your Dog and every donation helps provide food, medical treatment, and shelter for animals in need.
