League for Animals and People of the Summit

Since 1990, your donations to the League of Animals and People of the Summit (LAPS) have assisted local pet owners and our Summit County Animal Shelter (SCAS).  Our programs keep pets healthy and with their families and assist SCAS with special programs to reduce pet overpopulation. We are the only nonprofit providing financial assistance to the Summit Community for emergency veterinary care and spay / neuter assistance.  Please donate today so we can continue to provide this life saving service.

Your kindness came at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed and worried about how I would be able to afford the care Duckie needs & continue with our moving plans. Housing in the county is a difficult & unique challenge! Duckie means the world to me, and knowing she will be cared for properly is truly priceless.
