Korima Health Initiative is a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to improving healthcare access for the Rarámuri communities of the Sierra Tarahumara in Mexico. Founded to address severe gaps in medical care, the organization supports a rural clinic that treats malnutrition, tuberculosis, maternal health needs, and basic medical emergencies. With no reliable electricity in the region, Korima Health Initiative is working to build a sustainable, solar-powered clinic that can safely operate essential medical equipment and store life-saving medications. Inspired by the Rarámuri tradition of korima—sharing and mutual support—we are committed to creating long-term, community-centered healthcare solutions.
