The Kindness Art Education

The Kindness Art Education delivers art education programs to schools, and we do much more! We deliver programs designed that empower children to create compassionate and fulfilling lives. Art is the medium we use to ignite love of self and love of learning in students, excite children and families to come to school, and inspire children to expand their ideas about their future.

Today, many children do not receive a full, well-rounded education. Absenteeism at school is at 30%. Anxiety and loneliness has been declared an epidemic by both the World Health Organization and the U.S. Surgeon General. We need to embrace empowering and creative solutions to make big changes. 

Activating Portrait Pals is our primary focus—an innovative program designed to engage children through experiential lessons in math, science, visual narrative, and social/emotional wellness. Children are paired with someone outside their community and are guided to paint a portrait of them. At the same time, the child's Pal, is painting each child's portrait. Both Pals give and receive. We deliver our programs to schools so children and families do not need to travel to us. We provide all quality art supplies, professional photography sessions (also on site at school), plus all teaching. 100% of our partners ask us to return to provide Portrait Pals again. With your help, we can reach more children and more schools.
