Junior League of Fort Collins prides itself in being an impact maker within our community. We operate the ONLY women's closet that provides free business clothing to persons in need in Northern Colorado. Annually we serve nearly 150 women and over the course of time have provided over 1,000,000 articles of professional clothing to those in need. Our Career Closet has been the go-to resource for many of our community partners and domestic violence shelters to boost the confidence in their clients enabling them to not fear the financial burden of appropriate clothing for their next job, promotion or step up in life. The Junior League of Fort Collins has been critical in a woman's journey to improved self esteem which ripples into their home life as well as their professional life.
Our second program of impact in the community is in partnership with the Larimer County Food Bank - we provide funds and volunteer services to provide FREE snacks to all eligible schools in the Poudre and Thompson School systems. Currently the Junior League of Fort Collins delivers snacks to 20 schools and annually delivers up to 85,000 snacks. This important program helps relieve the food insecurities some children face. The impact can be seen in classroom behavior, improved test scores, focus in and out of the classroom, and quiets those rumbly bellies.
Your donation during this campaign will live on in our community for years to come.
Together we make Fort Collins great, together we can invest in the lives of women and children. Together we make a difference.
Testimonials
"Having been an Active member of the Junior League of Fort Collins for a little over a year, it’s been eye opening to see what an impact JL has on our community in so many different ways. I am trained as a stylist in our flagship program, the Career Closet. Those appointments are some of my favorite getting to work one-on-one with a woman who’s aspiring for greatness. It’s amazing the amount of confidence that can come from a gently used pair of heels, a dark blazer, matching scarf and jewelry. I can see what an impact we are having every time I step foot in the closet. I am thrilled to be apart of something so magical."

"I am so thankful for everything that the Career Closet has helped me with! As a graduate student and therapist-in-training, I do not have much money but I need to be dressed professionally for all of my roles. I have not only received a new wardrobe from the Career Closet, I have also gained fashion advice and guidance on what clothes and styles look good on me. This has helped my confidence so much! I so look forward to my visits to the career closet and am so grateful for Courtney and everyone else at the Junior League Career Closet!"

"I wanted to say thank you so much for your help! I was a massage therapist and only wore workout clothes, basically! Now I have a job doing Outside Sales for a web company in Fort Collins and the clothing that I got during my hour at the Career Closet helped me close the deal and get the job! Thank you again for everything you do! I really appreciate you!"
