$75,000 Goal

J146 Foundation exists to provide a venue, equine assisted learning, and guided outdoor activities to support nonprofits assisting survivors of trauma. It is a safe place in a broken world that provides the space, resources and opportunities for hope, healing, and renewal. Operating on the spectacular 1,800 acre Lorrayne Ranch, we work with our partners to support sex trafficking survivors, foster family respite, veterans, first responders, and others in a collaborative effort to RESTORE what was BROKEN and EMPOWER what REMAINS.

Mission

J146 Foundation exists to provide a venue, equine assisted learning, and guided outdoor activities to support nonprofits assisting survivors of trauma.

Background Statement

Pete and Laurie Sloan Zeman have always had a heart and passion to empower survivors of human trafficking, veterans, first responders, foster children, and people living with cancer. However, when they moved to Colorado in 2016, they saw many nonprofits serving these populations were struggling to not only find affordable places to facilitate programming, but lacked financial means to pay for programming to assist the people they served. In 2020, J146 Foundation was founded to provide these nonprofits with a venue, equine assisted learning, and guided outdoor activities so nonprofits can focus on the clients they are serving: helping survivors heal from emotional and physical traumas.
