Testimonials

"What we like most about Reign Christian Academy is they have a passion for not just the student but for the whole family.  Reign believes that for the student to do well, the whole family needs support, help and encouragement.  It is a partnership between the school and the family and together we will move forward to provide a better future for our children."

"My son is a completely different kid than last year."

"My daughter improved tremendously in reading, math and the bible in only a few moths. We are thankful for Reign's values and efforts in our community."

Giving Activity

Mission

Our mission is to empower families through education and mentorship with holistic care founded on Christ’s command to “love one another.”

Background Statement

Beginning in 2014, Hope in Our City has served 721 refugee and impoverished individuals in the Sun Valley neighborhood through educational and mentorship programs. We have offered supplementary programs to holistically strengthen families, including after school enrichment and intervention, adult ESL, sewing, youth leadership and development, Bible studies, teen Alpha, Summer Kids Club, citizenship and entrepreneurial classes. Over the years we have adapted to changes in the community, ensuring our programs are relevant and helpful in gaining independence and success. Redevelopment of the Sun Valley neighborhood from low income to mixed income, along with changes in local educational policy and academic performance prompted Hope in Our City’s vision of a Christ-centered school that offers exceptional education to students of all backgrounds.
