At Hold You Support Services, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our mission is to empower young learners with a developmental delay or disability through group developmental support tailored to their unique needs. We provide a nurturing environment where little ones can build the skills they need to unlock their full potential.

In addition to supporting children, we recognize the critical role parents play in their child's development. That’s why we offer comprehensive emotional and practical support to families, guiding them through the often complex journey of raising a child with a disability. By providing resources, education, and a compassionate community, we aim to reduce the burden on parents and help them feel equipped and confident in their caregiving role.

Together, we work to create a world where every child has the support they need to succeed, and every family has the tools to navigate the path ahead with strength and resilience.

Mission

We know that when families have a child with a disability or suspected delay the emotional and logistical stress of getting support can leave families feeling lonely and confused.

Our mission is to create an accessible family-centered community and education experience in Boulder County where children with developmental delays and their families can receive the services and emotional support they need in an environment that supports and teaches the entire family. We do this by offering a wide range of early intervention services and creating spaces of mutual learning while equipping families with the tools, resources, and connections necessary to support their children throughout the course of their growth and development.

Background Statement

Our story begins with three mamas who, through their own personal experiences and by listening to others, realized there was a significant gap in care for families with children who have developmental delays or disabilities. The unfortunate truth is that many families feel lonely and isolated when dealing with an unexpected diagnosis, often without the support of others who truly understand their journey. In some cases, essential services for their child are delayed while families wait for approvals, or they find themselves advocating for their child, feeling unheard by medical professionals despite their concerns.

Recognizing these challenges, these three mamas wanted to create a space where families could come together, share their experiences, and find the support they desperately needed. What started as a simple idea — offering playdates in the park to help families connect and share resources — quickly grew into something much bigger. The response was overwhelming, and it became clear that more structured, consistent support was needed.

With a vision of caring for the whole family, in September 2024, Hold You Support Services was officially launched. Our flagship program is a weekly early intervention group, where children receive therapeutic support in a multidisciplinary environment, addressing their unique needs in areas like gross motor, speech, feeding, and more. At the same time, we offer emotional and practical support for parents, providing a space to connect with others who truly understand their experience.

Our goal is to bridge the gap in care by empowering both children and families with the tools, resources, and community they need to navigate the challenges ahead. We're here to help families thrive, not just survive, as they work through the complexities of raising a child with a developmental delay or disability.
