At History Jeffco, we strive to keep the past alive. We believe that preserving Jefferson County's diverse heritage will better connect us with each other and the place we call home. History Jeffco is a community-based volunteer organization which partners with other groups working to memorialize our county's rich and colorful history. We work to raise awareness about the value of historic preservation and fundraising to support projects throughout Jefferson County.

Mission
History Jeffco, in Partnership with Jefferson County Historical Commission and other Jeffco history-focused organizations, inspires and supports preservation, enlightenment and discovery of Jefferson County's heritage.
Background Statement
History Jeffco began in 2011 as the fundraising "Friends" group for the Jefferson County Historical Commission. It has since been transformed into a broader organization aiming to collaborate with a variety of history-focused societies, associations, commissions, educators and museums across Jefferson County Colorado.
Other than a shared goal of supporting preservation of Colorado history, History Jeffco is not affiliated with History Colorado.
