Highlight Catholic Ministries is a Denver apostolate with the mission to lead youth to a deeper life of virtue and discipleship through sports. Frassati Sports (boys) and Badano Sports (girls) field teams competing in a variety of sports and leagues throughout the year and offer Catholic sports camps during the summer.
The mission of Frassati Sports & Adventure is to form strong male disciples of Jesus Christ. Through sports and adventure, we seek to foster authentic masculine spirituality, servant leadership, vocation discernment, and joyful Catholic witness. With God the Son at the center of our every action, He empowers us to take up our cross/sword and do all things through Him.
The mission of Badano Sports is to form strong female disciples of Jesus Christ. Through sports, we seek to foster authentic feminine spirituality, servant leadership, vocation discernment, and joyful Catholic witness.
Starting in 2016 as a parish ministry of Denver’s Our Lady of Lourdes, Frassati Sports & Adventure (for boys) was incorporated and granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status by the IRS in 2017. Badano Sports (for girls) was launched in 2018, and both became divisions of a new name, Highlight Catholic Ministries. By 2019 the ministry expanded its reach to over 1,000 youth through camps, clinics, leagues, and teams.
