The mission of Mountain Medics International is to improve the condition of impoverished mountain communities through better health and hygiene, resource management, education and awareness.
Background Statement
Since 2004, MMI has been conducting remote medical outreach to research, diagnose and treat ailments of patients in developing areas with poor accessibility to care, that suffer from extreme poverty and lack basic nourishment and hygiene. We collaborate with our communities, local health organizations, schools and governments to conduct on-site medical-dental clinics, augment remote medical resources and support ongoing public health campaigns.
