Hands to the Future helps refugees and immigrants navigating barriers to education and economic opportunity see what's possible and find their way forward.
Our work brings together Belonging and Mobility.
Through post-secondary education and workforce pathways, including Construction Connect, we help participants prepare for opportunities, persist through challenges, and connect with people and experiences that expand what's possible for their futures.
Hands to the Future provides education and career guidance paired with wrap-around support services for refugees and immigrants pursuing post-secondary options.
H2TF’s vision is to walk alongside students as they reach significant milestones, including graduating from college, earning industry-recognized credentials, and securing meaningful employment.
Since 2019, Hands to the Future has helped refugee and immigrant youth and young adults in Colorado navigate educational and career opportunities.
Rooted in the experiences of refugee and immigrant communities, H2TF recognizes that access to opportunity requires more than information or enrollment. Young people also need relationships, encouragement, practical support, and connections that help them persist through challenges.
What began with a focus on college advising and educational support has grown to include workforce development and career exploration. Today, programs such as Power of Your Story and Construction Connect reflect H2TF's commitment to both Belonging and Mobility—helping participants develop confidence, expand their networks, and pursue meaningful educational and economic futures.
