Harvest of All First Nations (HAFN) is building a future where BIPOC+ communities can thrive, reconnect with their cultural roots, and lead the way in addressing environmental and social injustices. Our programs depend on self-determination and sovereignty and thus the rematriation of land. Rematriation is the ancestral and matrilineal concept to embrace nurturing and inclusion of all life, as opposed to extraction of the earth for solely human purposes.

Food Justice & Sovereignty

Reclaims traditional food practices to provide nutritious food, empower land reconnection, and promote sustainability. Over 100 stewards tend community gardens, cultivating over a thousand pounds of produce, primarily three sisters (corn, bean, squash) which regenerate the land.

Cultural Education & Environmental Justice

Empowers Indigenous Relations Consultants to share ancestral knowledge with key community stakeholders. Through educational teachings, workshops, land acknowledgements and equity consultancy we create reparations.

Solidarity & Anti-Racism Learning

Trains leaders to develop anti-racist capacity to act in solidarity with First Nations, people of color, and people impacted by poverty. Participants report an increased ability to respond to microaggressions and relate.

Ancestral Womb & Postpartum Care

Revitalizes Indigenous healing practices, centering the health and wellness of birthing folks of color, children, trauma survivors, and families. Trains the next generation of community healers, connecting Indigenous community of the Global North and South.

4th Annual Corn Festival

Over 2,000 people turn out to our culminative event, harvest celebration, BIPOC market, and educational workshops for all ages. The full diversity of the Indigenous community joined in ceremony for our first Powwow this past year.
