Greeley Interfaith Association

A nonprofit organization

Our organization was formed in 1976 by a group of leaders from various congregations in Weld County who were concerned about growing social problems in the community that were not being addressed. This pioneering vanguard felt the faith community must assume leadership in Greeley and Weld County to ensure social justice and to meet human needs. This new association promoted communication among all religious houses of worship and human service organizations in the Weld County area. That organization ultimately became the Greeley Interfaith Association (GIA).
