Greccio Housing is more than just a housing organization—we’re a lifeline for individuals and families in Colorado Springs. We empower residents to build a brighter future by providing stable, permanent housing paired with comprehensive supportive services. With a foundation of security and access to essential resources, residents can focus on achieving their long-term goals and gaining self-sufficiency.

Your generous contribution will:

  • Maintain and expand our weekly food pantry services.

  • Foster connections through community engagement events

  • Provide veterinary care to residents' pets twice a year.

  • Launch health and nutrition initiatives, including monthly cooking classes.

  • Offer critical eviction prevention support to residents facing one-time crises.

  • Inspire young readers with child literacy packets and Grab-n-Go Libraries.

Resident Testimonials

Mission

Our mission is to provide stable, safe, affordable housing, to offer resources for residents to achieve stability, and to promote solutions to the affordable housing needs of our community.

Background Statement

Over 3 decades ago in 1990, Greccio Housing began in a 100 square foot donated storefront near downtown Colorado Springs. It was in that space that the founder, Claudia Deats-Rodgers, worked tirelessly toward her dream of improving the quality of life for those in need of stable and permanent housing.

Today, Greccio Housing currently serves nearly 1,000 residents per year through properties across Colorado Springs and Teller County. Beyond providing affordable housing to lower their cost of living, Greccio Housing offers access to a variety of services, guidance, community events, educational workshops, and ongoing assistance that helps residents on their path toward self-sufficiency and financial independence.
