Grant Street Reach

A nonprofit organization

Grant Street Reach (“Street Reach”), has been serving the Denver community for 29 years. Operating primarily as a Soup Kitchen, Street Reach provides hot meals every Monday to its clients. In 2015 alone, Street Reach served close to 50,000 meals to its patrons. Aside from food service, Street Reach provides food (canned goods, fresh vegetables, and fruit), clothing, blankets, toiletries, diapers, and baby formula to its clients.

Some Background: After 25 years of serving the hungry in downtown Denver, in 2019 'Street Reach' lost its kitchen location due to gentrification. We're still preparing food, but we've incorporated help from Christ in the City who distribute it to the unhoused and hungry on the streets. Please see our website for more information.

Mission

To reach out to the community and feed the hungry regardless of circumstances, with dignity and without judgement. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of our clients and restoring hope by providing hot nutritious meals as well as other essential necessities to those in need within the community.
