The Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) focuses on economic development within Mesa County, including the City of Grand Junction, City of Fruita, and the Town of Palisade.
GJEP works to create quality jobs and expand capital investment in Mesa County through the attraction, expansion, and retention of primary business. We believe in building a community where everyone can forge their own path forward.
To accomplish our mission and vision, we work closely with local and state leaders to connect businesses with the resources they need. Additionally, we collaborate with several Economic Development partners with a pro-business mindset to elevate our community. Through the support of our investors and the community at large, we can assist businesses and strengthen our community.

For every $1 invested in GJEP in 2024, we create $93 in economic impact.
Last year, through the support of our investors, GJEP was able to generate momentum in our community by supporting several business relocations and expansions. These efforts yielded:
• 299 new primary jobs created in 2024 (Avg. salary = $62,201)
• 147 projected jobs
• $32,962,157 in employment economic impact
• $58,289,861 capital expenditure economic impact
Our total economic impact for 2024 was $91,252,018.
